Is speaking with the insurance agent that wrote the policy for the upcoming Gold Rush days Wickenburg Art Club show those 00:00:38
insurance policies also cover their participants. It's my understanding that the town feels this is another layer of protection 00:00:45
for the town in the event of a lawsuit. But you can guarantee that no amount of insurance. 00:00:51
Policies will stop a determined lawyer from suing everyone they can find in any event. 00:00:58
This is a hardship and an overkill for a lot of art and craft vendors in this town. 00:01:04
Some events are only $25.00 to participate and the crafter may only make $40. Adding an additional insurance policy will severely 00:01:10
impact a lot of participants. In any event, as a vendor, we pay for this insurance in our entry fee to the nonprofit organization 00:01:16
that is hosting the event. 00:01:23
So then where will it end? Will you require participants at the Christmas light parade to carry a special insurance problem? 00:01:30
